Maybe I expanded my AI inquiries and that's where I saw the paint changes , although it's different now so who knows where I saw it .

Regardless, it’s more likely than not that Ford will include the DDMS camera in the ‘27s. You’d be a fool to trust Ford / this administration not to abuse it.

And... where is this proof that it is likely?

Other than Congress passing a currently-impossible-to-implement-law, I have seen zero "proof" there will be AI-overlord cameras taking over our vehicles any time in the near future. IF this even stays on the books, I would be surprised if ANY vehicles get this tech before 2030

it doesn’t seem to appear in the f150 or expedition 2027 ordering guides. Doubt it will be added in any 2027 as it is an additional cost

the NHTSA has NOT published any regulation requiring this. It will be 3 years after it is published before it is required.

and the NHTSA already reported to congress it is not feasible at this time.

for some reason congress could not muster up enough support to repeal the legislation this year.

It’s already in a lot of vehicles. Tesla,Subaru for example has eye monitoring systems. All that needs to be done is a simple software update.

That's not how that works.

An eye monitoring system doesn't automatically mean just software is needed to make it "AI monitoring". Maybe in a rolling computer like a Tesla... but not most vehicles.

I know a few people with new (2025+) Lexus GX SUVs with the eye monitoring. And they all hate it because it is constantly beeping at them to pay attention to the road, even when they are fully paying attention. The tech isn't there... it is many years out at a minimum

But I think we are all getting off topic here...
