Did the bed rug with ARE topper; matches nicely (not exact) with headliner. I carry samples for work.
Has carried camp gear several times and cleans out very nice.

It depends on what you're going to be hauling in your bed. I did a lot of research and chose a Lasfit bed mat and tailgate mat from Amazon - they're two separate items. Perfect fit, easy install and it has a nice texture to it that isn't rough, but will keep things from sliding around. Affordable as well.

I like that look! My truck came with the Ford modular bed liner (plastic). It functions fine, but I prefer the bed mat for the reasons you mentioned. Plus, I like seeing the painted panels. Yes, they are more prone to damage when hauling stuff, but my truck only hauls ass! 😁

I ordered my 2025 with the factory bed liner. I still have over a month before my build is scheduled to make changes and I am having second thoughts about the bed liner. I am planning on a fiberglass Leer or A.R.E. topper and thinking I might get a rubber mat for the floor or a Bedrug that covers the floor and the sides. All of that will work with the spray in liner but not sure if I should get it. Another reason, besides the $500, is that it will hold up the build for anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks as I understand once the initial build is complete it gets sent to another yard for the bedliner and could sit there awhile. This is from the Ford dealer general manager who I know personally and he has spent time at the plant.

Should I cancel the liner if I plan on a topper and a cargo mat or Bedrug?
It's your call. I skipped the Ford liner and had an after market spray in liner installed the day after I got the truck. It took a couple of hours and cost less money.

I have the spray in liner on my 18 F-150 and RR with the Ford rubber mats. My gas cans and other items stay put. Worth it IMO.

I read that from August builds would be MY2026, is yours a 2026 ?
My build starts Sept 29, I'll let you know the model year when I get my window sticker but nobody told me it would be a 2026.

I will not get a Ford spray-in bed liner again. I have had it on a few trucks. It's decent but they're lazy and they spray over all of the tie down mounts. If you ever want to put an accessory behind it, you will have to peel off the spray on the bolts. I have had 3 trucks with it and 3 without. I added Rhinolining to two of the trucks. It was thicker, they took the hardware off, sprayed and then put the hardware back. I found the rubber traction was better than Ford's spray in and was thicker than Ford, for around the same price. I will definitely do that in the future. I did have one instance where an after-market solution started to peel. It was poorly prepped and the after market shop took care of it, no problem.

I ordered around the end of July and the dealer recommended not doing the bed liner or the paint protection. Both would delay the order. They're going to have both of those done when the truck arrives before I pick it up. Says it goes into production first week of October.

I was worried about the tie down bolts that needed to be removed for the factory bed liner. I've had many trucks over the year with both spray in and drop in bedliners. I went with DuraLiner over spray in for this truck as it's way easier to clean. I had the local DuraLiner dealer order it and shipping was free (under $300). I let them install it for a small fee. Like $350 all in with shipping and installation. For the install, they had to cut out the bed lights section (4 screws each light) and the power section (4 screws). The body facing side of the liner has a guide line so you know exactly where to cut, super easy. Then it just pops in and you put the bed lights and power section back in and you're done. The tail gate is about 8 screws with some depth inserts. After that, just pop in the rubber circle inserts over the tie down bolts. The great part is you do not need to touch those bolts, making the install just 10-15 minutes.

I started with a rubber bed liner from WeatherTech https://www.weathertech.com/ Great price, perfect fit, great protection. The problem I ran into with the rubber bed liner was pulling or push items across it, Everything would stick on the rubber mat. Ever an ice cooler with 20 pounds of ice was hard to pull out or push in,

I decided to take the rubber bed liner out and get a spray in liner. The spray in liner has been working great
