Has anyone installed the factory brake controller? I recently replaced the rear bumper harness to allow for the 7 pin trailer hookup and also bought the factory brake controller. Everything is hooked up. Turned some stuff on in for can but still the brake controller doesn’t operate. Maybe I’m missing something in forscan to activate it. Any help would be great.

i think if you search a little there is a thread back towards summer time that someone was talking about everything on the different trim levels and what you needed to do to activate the tow stuff.

try searching tow package trim or something. it had pictures of stuff under the dash and some wiring part to look for. the guys who had that wire were able to hook up and it worked

You can’t reach the connector for the brake controller from underneath. It’s two trim pieces that you need to pop loose then you can get to it. It is rather easy and quick.
