My OCD is racking my brain but this solution might be the ticket. I might use the factory bezel where the factory tbc would go and order the plug from the super duty ranger. That way it is an easy access to do a redarc knob repair or service in the future.

Checking in other threads too, but has anyone in here CONFIRMED the presence (or lack) of the connector I need to plug in an aftermarket controller? I have a 2026 and it seems they eliminated the plug under the dash for the tow package w/o factory controller....at least reading between the lines on others' posts...

I have to tell you. That after a year of fooling around with trying to find a simple after market brake controller, and talking to the Ford dealer, the manufactures of the brake controllers, and the inability of the straight forward answer, of a simple plug and play type controller. The braking controller that simply fasten to the bottom of the dash. That you didn't need to preform major surgery on the interior of the trucks not available . On top of it all the truck is a 2025 Ford Ranger 4x4 XL/STX with tow package. What does that mean? Only tow a 7500 pound trailer that you dare to. Without a brake controller!!
The only alternative is to use a bluetooth device that does not guarantee a good connection, with the trailer. So in the Rocky Mountains the trailer can challenge the truck to a race down hill?
I am seriously considering to dump this high tech pile of dung!!
