Factory top speed limiter for 2024 Ranger Raptor?

From what I've read, due to US regulations, vehicles produced/sold in the US must have a top speed limiter set according to the speed rating of the tires. The only other vehicle I've really looked into with this issues is the Ram TRX which also has a limiter, even at 702hp.

Even the Raptor R is gov limited to 112 MPH at 720 HP. Ram TRX and RHO are similar limits. All have large off-road tires that is the limiting factor. Could you put a pair of AT's on with maybe a V speed rating? Sure, but the truck doesn't know that and the gov limit remains for safety reasons.

I got 106 but with my tuned 2019 XLT it topped out at 118. I can’t wait until I can get my limiter turned off on my RR. It’s bad to speed but I don’t like being limited.

i always try to remove the top speed limiter in case there is a zombie outbreak. you might need to get somewhere quick to save some people
