Feedback on Scrub Radius with More Negative Off-set

I've been considering buying a set of Methods for my 24' RR some, but they don't offer anything with a Ford factory off-set of +55mm, closest I can get is +35mm offset, which is going to push the wheel outboard and increase the scrub radius by 20mm.

I'm curious for those who have Method wheels, if you're running the 35mm as to how much of a difference (increase in steering feedback) you notice with that extra 20mm of scrub. I don't want a truck with too much feedback where it's pulling the wheel all over.

I would imagine on a truck with 33" tires, the increase in offset has LESS impact on than on say something like my former vehicle (2016 Mustang GT) where I worked hard to find wheels that had very close to factory off-set for high-speed driving dynamics. And no, I do NOT plan to run taller tires, I like my 33's and outside of crawling I don't see the benefit (increases rotating mass, reducing steering feel with a larger sidewall etc.), also voids the FP warranty which I want to keep intact for time being.

So mainly looking for feedback from those running stock sized 33" tires on wheels with around mid 35ish mm offset.

I run +30 offset with 12.5" wide 33s, and the feedback from scrub radius change is negligible. It is there - just not to a point any issues arise in all driving situations (onroad sprited, offroad, snow/ice, rain).

Prior to this setup I had 1.2" spacers on OE setup and both steering and braking felt great (steering input is agile and no darting around under braking). The spacers were a pilot for me to know what I wanted for aftermarket wheels and how it would drive. I wouldn't want 0 or negative offset though.

35 x 12.5 Toyo AT3 rubber on +35 Method 703s

The truck wanders just a liiiiitttttlllle bit more than previously, still not bad at all. Not sure if it matters to you, since it's not an apples to apples comparison due to 35s.

RE: your point about rotating/unsprung mass, I chose Methods and Toyos for that reason. From what I can tell, it's one of the lightest combos out there. Very small mass increase over OEM setup.

Also I'm on 2.75 Front / 3 Rear perches, so uhhh....YMMV. :)

Noted and thanks for the input. I will say that a taller tier will counteract scrub radius a bit as it moves the intersection point up higher, thus reducing the scrub, so the slightly larger tire in your case may have offset some of the increased scrub from the 703's. At the same time, different tire compounds and patterns also effect on-center feel, turn in etc. you are right nots quite apples to apples, but a decent proxy.

I'll wait to see if I get a few more inputs before I make a final decision, but so far it seems that the added scrub is largely negligible for this truck.
