UK Ranger Raptor V6 here.

Had a rat gain access to the cabin and cause some damage, including driver, passenger leather seats, seat belt, cup holder & child's car seat.

I idenfied the entry point behind the rear bench seat, the bulkhead has a plastic vent, the rat chewed through this and entered the cabin on a few occasions. Just letting owners know incase they experience anything similar.

Having a chat with my local dealer next week to see what can be done. I have temporarily sealed the vent with some metal plate to prevent anymore unwanted visitors.

Thanks for the effort to write this up and give us a warning. I have had something similar happen in am old Nissan Patrol, they chewed through the gear shift boot and cause similar issues once they got into the cabin.
Will keep an eye on my vent and possibly look to put some metal mesh over it.
