I have a slightly misaligned panel gap on the front of my hood but overall, I don't have any build quality issues I've noticed. I did have a connector on the back left of the bed that was disconnected, not sure if it came that way or if someone messed with my truck.
My panel gaps are good but my hood was hard to close. I adjusted the hood latch and it closes easy now. Otherwise I have no complaints about quality.

I do as well. The passenger side gap is bigger. I'm having the dealer sent it to a body shop to have it aligned before I have them adjust the hood latch to see if that's why the hoods on these are not shutting on these.

Picked up my truck from the dealer today. Most concerns were addressed. Have to go back for seat leather, tailgate liner, and rear seatback carpet due to wait on parts. The only concern that was not addressed is the frame rust which was disappointing. Numerous rust spots noticed after a week of ownership were considered "normal" even though the only driving was on road. Dealer couldn't reproduce the hard down shift from 3rd to 2nd at low RPM. Not too concerned about that as if it gets worse/consistent will deal with it at a later time. I'm certainly otherwise pleased that Ford has fixed or will fix the majority of QC concerns. I was told there is an open bulletin in Oasis for QC so hopefully others can get their concerns addressed too.

My rear seat had to be slammed to latch. The dealer found it was due to the middle head rest leg hitting against a bracket. It also punched a hole through the rear carpet which I had not noticed. If you rear seat is hard to latch, try raising the middle head rest as it maybe preventing the latch from engaging easily. I'm going to remove my middle headrest. The way the legs angle seems like it could be a problem to the carpet even without the bracket interference.

The downshift your feeling is probably normal. I have had A 2018 F 150 2.7, and now I have A 2022 F 150 2.7.
When you are Pulling into a parking lot and managing your way through the parking lot, that's when I used to feel the hard downshift, almost a clunk in my 2018. Then, when I started to realize when it was happening. I started paying attention to it more and I noticed when I pulled into parking lot, I would be in third gear and as I'm driving through the parking lot, slower and slower to get to the farthest parking spot away from everybody, It would shift from third to first, really hard. My guess is because there's 10 speeds, and It's hard for the computer to figure out what gear it should be in because the gear ratios are so close that it doesn't always make the right decision. My wife's ranger raptor has a similar issue. When I pull into the parking lot, start driving around and it is left in like fifth gear from where I just came from, It'll downshift really hard to third gear, as I'm driving through the parking lot and it knows that I'm gonna be going that speed for a while. Doesn't sound good and feel right, but once you get used to it and understand what it's doing, it's much less stressful. I hope that's all your problem is.

My last post was a response to your hard downshift issue.

Man, these are bad. If and when I receive my XLT (still on a hold), I'll make sure to do a complete walk around and in before I accept delivery. Thanks for all these posts.

My '19 Ranger had a similar issue with the backseat needing to be violently slammed to get it to latch. The dealer tried a couple of times to realign it but we all just gave up on it because that was something I wouldn't interact with very often. Of course, that's where I decide to mount my relays, fuses, and control circuits for my secondary battery and lights/accessories so I was in and out of it for a couple of months getting that wired up...

Huge thanks to Gator Ford as I'm finally caught up on warranty work. Not their fault it has been ongoing since May as parts haven't been available. Ghandi provided some of the best service I've ever experienced from an automotive repair business and Tye's repair work is flawless. If you are in the Tampa area, highly recommend you give Ghandi a call.

Also, a big thank you to Andrea who is a Ford Truck Concern Specialist that I was paired with after DM'ing Ford Motor Company here on the forum. She has been with me every step of the way ensuring all my concerns were addressed as best as possible.

Other than the original concerns already posted in the thread, I also had my drivers mirror start making a cricket sound at speeds above 55mph. The mirror was replaced under warranty and came within days.

The only concerns that were not covered under warranty repair are the few spots of rust on the frame and the tires needing to be rebalanced after 5k miles. The latter is a common thing with off-road tires.

The only other concern that was not fully addressed is the loose seat leather driver's side front and also the rear seat. Passenger seat is perfect even though I've had plenty of passengers. The warranty replacements had a similar looseness. They tried to steam the replacements which helped a bit but still quite noticeable. I was told they are a onetime replacement under warranty. After seeing some other seats, they could be much worse, I guess.

I didn't check until tonight, but also have a chip in the paint by the passenger rear taillight.

Picked up the RR yesterday. Hood is not aligned properly causing a paint chip on the fender near the windshield. Also multiple spots around the truck that have little paint bumps/drips. Dealer acknowledged and will be correcting next week.

I experienced a lot of these similar issues with panel fit on my Bronco.

Luckily I'm a former Auto Body refinish & repair tech so I fixed all of them myself.

I ordered the vehicle from an out of state Dealer and had it shipped to me, so taking it to them wasn't feasible.

Also, my local Dealer doesn't have a Body Shop, so a lot of this type of work gets farmed out to shops that do. I didn't want to deal with the hassle and I knew what to do, so it was a non-issue for me.

The Bronco 6G forums had a thread with a check-list of things found and to look for before picking up or looking at a new one sitting on the lot. It might be a good idea for someone to start and have pinned a thread for this.
I didn’t see the thread created. Do you by chance know if it did? I’m in a similar position with out of state dealer purchase. Could I take it to my local dealer who does have a body shop?

I would try talking to them to see if they would do it.

Some Dealers can be a pain if you didn't buy it from them, so if they refuse to do it try a reputable body shop in your area.

I got lucky with my Ranger Raptor, it only had one minor paint imperfection (lint in the clear-coat) on the roof, so I did a bit of clear-coat correction to remove it before I applied the ceramic coat.
