Much brighter and looks like factory should have looked. Pretty expensive but those guys make good stuff however their instructions are not good at all.
I went into the install thinking it was going to be a big ordeal. I think it took me about 20 minutes and everything fit perfectly.
Thanks for the reply. Yeah i was looking at their instructions and was curious about this step

I did add the flash and having an all black truck I’m glad I did.

The step you mention is what concerned me as well. In addition to that confusion they supplied a couple different harnesses. What the heck!?

So, I just unplugged the factory light and then plugged in the new light and lo and behold it worked. Next I unplugged the new light and then added the flashy thing and put it back together and it also worked. Stuffed it all back into the hole and let the headliner go back into place and mounted the new light. Haven’t had a single issue. Looks much nicer.

Interesting to know. Thank you! So lastly, what seals this up? The double-sided tape? My last concern was water leaking through as i think the stock one has a rubber seal around it?

Mine had a nice rubber seal with tape. I don’t see it leaking. I didn’t like that the screws they sent were silver color. The whole thing is black. If you’re OCD like me you’ll want to address that detail.

Yeah after I posted that I checked reviews on their site and saw this one so I'll def be adding to the list of things to purchase.

Yeah, ill paint them with black paint marker before going in.. was already thinking that!

Also, you have ruined me. I cant stop looking at my 3rd brake light with disgust after seeing morimoto's version. It will look sweet on my black truck..lololol

I just bought all the LEDs for the damn truck too like a week ago and have yet to even install the cargo lights as Lasfit's ranger combo deal sends cargo's bulbs that are just slightly too long so they have sent out another pair that's in transit

That light was my second mod when I got my 2024 RR. Haven’t regretted it.

I agree with GLW on the install being way easier than it looks in the instructions. I think I spent more time trying to match the instructions to what was in the box with extra parts that did not fit anywhere.
When I was finished with the install (I lowered headliner), I was somewhat certain it may be possible to install without lowering the headliner. Just a thought and may be worth trying first. Also painted (black rust-oleum) the screw heads.

I just saw a truck with an A.R.E. topper that had an LED flashing brake light, the brake light looed exactly like the one on my A.R.E. so I'll bet he just used a module. Will be interesting to see what you come up with for a module.
