Floor the gas pedal and there is a long chime, what is it for, and can I turn it off?

Accelerating flat out from 10 to 60 mph in Normal Mode, up a freeway ramp, there is a long chime warning. Is that some sort of eco-reminder, and can I turn it off? I KNOW I am going flat out, I don’t really need a reminder for that.

John, I know you said Normal mode but 2H or 4Auto?

If my memory serves me right there should be a speed or acceleration warning toggle.

Sounds like you have the LIM option on.

Sounds like the "shift-indicator" to me.
Thats the yellow line above the rpms.
You can disable that completly, adjust the rpm or just disable the "shift sound"
Im not near the truck atm but its in the menu from the cockpit display if i remember right.
