Yeah I saw those. I'm not to keen on being forced to buy a full package. Still working on a metal bracket the replaces the existing fog light bezel. I'm going to produce one for Baja lights first. But the idea is the brackets can be used for whatever lights a person would like to use.
I hope you get that done. I'm definitely interested. I'm in the beginning phase of getting custom a-pillar pods made for our trucks. Best of luck for both of us!

Heck yeah man, have you checked out the below mirror lights the tacomas have? I was wanting to figure out how to replicate that with our mirrors, but alas one project at a time.

Nope, but that is actually something I thought about on the trip. Seems like a great place to mount them, other than maybe taking some additional branches on the trail. I don't mind adding some holes in the mirror housings if they'll support the weight of the brackets.

I also had a couple other ideas for more integrated solutions for our trucks, but didn't want to mention them until I can determine if they are even feasible, and won't cost stupid money.

Stayflush S1 pod fog lights with factory amber lenses. much brighter than factory. simple plug and play install took about 45 min. i would say this is the best option on the market currently since these trucks don't receive much support from 3rd parties still. they do shine rather high (similar to headlight level) and would like to see a revised 3d printed mount that angles the lights downward more but overall im happy and feel it was money well spent.

Looks really good!!! Did it come with plug and play wiring harnesses that connect to the oem wiring as well? On the StayFlush product page it looks like it comes with a universal harness with a switch? Do they function the same as oem fogs?

Yeah it came with plug and play pigtails as well as the original BD harness. Factory switch still remains in use unless you wanted to go with the BD harness and use an Aux switch.

awesome!! I may pick these up as well. Is your truck "leveled"? Do you think that could be why they are aimed high, like they were designed for factory rake maybe?

Truck is completely stock, I've been driving on the highway with them and haven't gotten flashed by anyone yet, but they do shine at eye level.

Because Baja Designs do not make a true SAE/DOT Fog light, these are essentially spot lights, granted these look like they are using the wide cornering lens.
