I learn something new everyday. I thought springs were performance related (other than an overload).
So really to save even more money, could you not stack a bunch of washers instead of spacers?
They are. The truck is too soft from factory

You can read why we picked strut spacers as the best option to lift the Ranger Raptors. goatoffroad.com.au/rangerraptorlifts

And please dont just stack washers 🤣

Are spacers the best option if you’re blowing through the travel offroad?
Thats usually going to be a result from carrying additional weight. Our methodolgy is change springs to carry your vehicles weight at the factory ride height, then lift with spacers. This requires some playing around with trying different spring rates.

Cargo/vehicle weight, heavier springs, at some point more compression and rebound dampening will be needed--unless you like a hoopty ride.

After talking with a lot of people I chose springs. I think people don’t know but most times the springs are the same inch lb rating.
Not a good choice on our machines for another reason. That shock is designed with internal bypass. Now your shock is going to be sitting further extended taking it out of the range where it should be to start. The reason you go with strut spacers is so that that internal bypass is sitting in that nice soft zone where it should be. That's why you don't use springs to lift a live valve vehicle

Yes I know, it’s been repeated a hundred times on here but I appreciate your explanation. However with skids, sliders, etc. there’s extra weight and I can blow through the travel on stock springs. I think 99% of RR owners don’t leave pavement and desire the under sprung ride

Even without the extra weight these trucks blow through the travel and bottom out pretty easy.

Also the best choice would be top hats for the shocks. But they are not available for our vehicles.

I bomb hard just about every weekend. I live in the desert and I bought this for off-roading. I only use it on road to get to off-road.

SDI will have tophats available very shortly.

Wondering why the lift is given in a range: 2-3 inches front and 0-1 inch for the rear. These shocks don't appear to come with springs, so why can't the lift be based on the shock length and have a definitive lift value. (Let's not factor/discuss individual trucks and how they might be loaded, and/or sagging).

They will come with springs. And just like pretty much every other coilover out there the height is adjustable.
