Ordered 6/28/24. 8/14/24 Ford says they’re working on, working on my order and they’ll contact me again in 45 days. To date (10/17/24) no other correspondence so, I cancelled my 2024 RR order and ordered a 2025 RR. I’ll be snowbirding mid- Nov thru mid-Mar in south Texas so, no sense taking delivery of a 2024 in 2025 when I’m paying MSRP.
After getting a Priority Code of 19 again, I asked the sales person, was there nothing he could do with a 5-19 range. He said he could and would change the Priority Code to 5 since I had not yet confirmed the order.

Anything special about your order that you couldn’t find sitting on a lot or inbound somewhere?
Sounds like maybe your dealer may not get many allocations.

We ordered ours back on 7/5/2023 and just received it a few weeks ago. It is worth the wait trust us. But it will definitely take some time.
WOW, that is some persistence. Hopefully the 25s will be a faster turn around.
enjoy your ride.

Usually it is, first year models are tough as nails to get ahold of. Our local dealer we got our Ranger through has up to today, only received 4 Ranger Raptors all year, us being the 4th. Really also comes down to your dealer's allocations and how many they get a year. A small town ford dealer may only get 1 or 2 allocations for a ranger raptor while a major city dealer gets 10-15 for example. really just feels like luck of the draw.

Also, don't mind the 45 day email ford sends out, we got one the same day we got scheduled back in August, they are just automated to send every 45 days to remind you up until you get scheduled.

Now that you have a 25 model year, get the Desert Sand color!!

Nothing special, black with keyless entry. Every dealership in the area wants a $10-$30K markup. Which is why I ordered. However this will be the 1st time in my 75 years, I’ve paid MSRP.

Not sure where you live but here is a black one on the lot for 700 below MSRP.

Thx Dingus83! If I’d known this 3 months ago I’d have been on it like white on rice. But I’m out of town until mid March and tied up with appointments until we depart.

The dealer can change the priority code at ANY TIME. Has nothing to do with if your order is confirmed or anything else. The priority code is the dealers way of simply prioritizing orders they submit to Ford. Ford each build cycle takes all the lowest priority retail orders and builds them. Since priority codes can change at any time, if you have a high code you will always be passed up until the very end.

Also the priority code means nothing if your dealer never gets an allocation as others have mentioned. My dealer which is a very large dealer had only sold 1 other before I ordered mine. Getting a 19 to start is common for things that arent being built right away or if there is a back log of orders with them.

You should confirm with the dealer you ordered with if they have a specific allocation for the RR when you ordered, otherwise youll be waiting for when they do. Last I saw Ford was back to building 15k Rangers a month in Q3 which is the average build throughput for them for this vehicle. 25 orders once they start should be much faster especially since nothing has really changed as far as parts or options.

The priority code range for retail factory orders is 10-19. Orders submitted to the USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) via the WBDO (Web Based Dealer Ordering) system default to priority code 19 requiring Dealer's to manually assign a lower priority code if desired. The best Dealer assigned priority code is 10. Priority codes and the orders in the USOB are exclusive to each dealership. The priority code is important if the Dealer has multiple, unscheduled retail factory orders in their USOB as the scheduling system will review the order with the lowest priority code first. When there are multiple, unscheduled orders with the same priority code, the system treats those orders equally and will consider the original order date but very often, schedule the order that meets applicable commodity requirements the easiest. Many dealerships are poor at managing their USOB and priority codes, so knowing your priority code and how many orders are ahead of you can be important.

The scheduling process is a bit complex including factors such as the original order date, priority code, allocation, microchip shortages, commodity and plant constraints, supplier issues, etc. all of which can delay scheduling. More information is available throughout the BOF site and at https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/63667-ford-vehicle-ordering-scheduling-process/.

In particular, your Dealer should submit your signed Buyer's Order and Driver's License to the COVP (Customer Order Verification Program). COVP verified orders qualify for incremental allocation and priority scheduling.

Priority codes apply only to unscheduled orders. If your priority code changed from 10 to 2, it had to have been done by Ford or the Ford Regional office before it was scheduled. The VIN number and production week are assigned when the order is scheduled. Once the order is scheduled, the priority code has no further function.

Not sure what our priority code was but it took just over 16 months to get ours in Velocity blue but we added the spray in liner and mud flaps. Almost gave up a few times
