Got first RECALL Notice: Window stuck open

Call where got truck..told me there into middle of October before can do..also told me mine gets J brace also?? Didn't expect that...needs truck all day when get done.

Did you buy the topper with the truck from Ford? If so that would be why for the J braces.

Ford says need body module re done..windo will stick open...left sides...take at lease a half day So it begins!

Had the recall software update done yesterday. Mobile Tech came to my place of work and did it in 15 minutes.

Well went and asked my ford dealer in town I live..told Mobil guy come do Thursday...wooohooo...at my workplace...they told me NO J BRACE! Only recall to do..my dealer where truck came from said i could get brace done? Other dealer is 30 mile away..I'll get done locally.

Just got my Raptor yesterday. Was built last week, doesnt appear the recall effects it.

I just did mine. They came to my house and plugged in a laptop and knocked it out in an hour. easy day.

This is my plan too - the mobile service seems like a win. Once I receive my ProCal4 device, I'll have them install the recall updates and then finalize my tune (push the apply button).

I ran the OP's VIN in Oasis. People asking about other software updates, but I have not seen many for the Ranger yet. Only the Driver Door Module, Passenger Door Module, and Trailer Module show pending updates for the OP's truck. I've checked numerous Ranger Raptors which show the same.

I had my first oil change yesterday, went out to ask the service writer to do the window recall and the tech in my truck was just revving the motor to hear the exhaust. I took it as a compliment.

Just to chime in real quick.

I got my upcoming appointment, for the window software, reminder today and it had the software update recall and box J brace listed as being done.

I called them to ask about Trailer Module and to make a note about it on my appointment in the chance it shows up by the time I bring it in.

I don't have anything mounted on my truck bed, outside of the tonneau cover, so it caught me by surprise, and I'm not even sure my local Dealer can do, or has done one yet.

Scheduled my update for this 2 weeks ago and had it done this morning.
It appear a few setting were reset. I noticed my folding side mirrors are not auto closing on lock anymore.
Will try to check other custom setting after work today.
