Got my Ranger Raptor build week

I ordered my Raptor on 03/06 and I've got my V.I.N. and build week (04/20) now.
I hope there aren't a bunch of Jimmy Buffett fans working the line

It "should" get delivered about a month after the build date...that's how long it took to get mine

Quick turnaround! I ordered mine within a few days of that, haven't heard anything yet.

I worked at this dealer for 28 years so they put mine in as a priority 3 over their other orders.

On 3/17/26, I ordered my custom 2026 Ranger Lariat w/ 2.7L engine.
My dealer volunteered to tag it with priority 3... many thanks to Rogers Ford in Midland TX!
I received Ford's notification on 3/19/26 with build date "slated to begin during the week of April 27, 2026."

I'm currently driving a 2021 F-150 Platinum so I wanted to have most all the "bells & whistles" available (except no sun/moon roof & no off road packages).
Dealer's list is just under $54K (with addition of AMP Research PowerStep Vision boards) & dealer installed spray bed liner at no charge.
It's not cheap but exactly what I wanted in a new P/U.

I'm planning a few simple & easy mods... most of which I've found on this forum.
I've thoroughly enjoyed the comments, experiences & suggestions from all you guys!
I'm looking forward to my new ride.... like a 10 year old anticipates a "Red Ryder BB gun" at Christmas!

I've been asked why do you want a new P/U & when are you planning to retire from your architecture practice?
I know the Lariat will be a lot of fun as Marie & I travel.... visiting some of our 20-Grands around the country!
And retirement, my response is always the same... "I haven't gotten tired the 1st time so how can I be re-tired?

I wasn't planning on a long response, but....
And, I speak the Lord's awesome & incredible blessings of safety, health & prosperity over you & all those you love.... whether you've read to this end of this post... or not!

I ordered in January and still no build date. I was told by the dealer today they have a tech package constraint. Haven’t seen news of that anywhere else.

my son loves his new lariat. he said its such a different truck from his 2025 stx 4x4. i hope you guys will have many trouble free miles in your new truck when it makes it to yall
