I believe they are in fact different products and the "tested and approved" comment is not on the adjustable one. Curious as to what that broad statement actually means anyway.

You are right. They are different. Here is what I was told by RPG.

"Both Ford Performance and Fox Factory have durability tested the spring perch collars, hence the "tested and approved" note in the product page. The adjustable collars have not gone through the same testing by those teams, but they have been more than Baja proven throughout the years so they hold up just as well.

The difference between the two comes down to one kit being adjustable, and one kit being static. The adjustable collars only work on the front, but the static collars work on both. We are just a bit further out on the static sizes. "

I agree. I was thinking I'd leave it at 1.5" until I get bigger tires, then adjust to what is needed. But now that I see it, I think 2" looks great with the stock tires.

Also, with these being internal bypass shocks, how is the ride affected by moving where the piston sits at ride height? Our is the bypass opening controlled purely by the live valve system?
