Hello ,looking for a 2024 ford ranger xl skidplate kit that will fit this truck

Don't pay attention to the highlighted plate or picture, those are the correct numbers directly from the Ford parts tags that came with the Plates. that pic with the one highlighted plate always pops up for some reason. You'll gat the right plate it if you order those numbers.

These are Bronco parts, but fit. The fronts skid is Silver on the Ranger, and searchable, different fromt the part here in the list.

You may want to get some bolts #2 And #4 as well, sold in packs of 4. price per.

You should have the Skid plate brackets, being it's a 4x4. there are some bolts already installed holding the plastic pieces on that can be used to install the steel plates. Get a few extra though, i think i was short 2. same blots hold the transfer case on, 2 bolts.

Hello everyone, is it possible to remove stocked air dam (sport 4x4)and install oem metal skid plate MB3Z-5D032-K instead or do I have to install those L and R air dams like (FX4) in order to make the bumper stable?

Yes, you can. I installed the FX4 air dams along with the skid plate but they don't add much stability. The front of the bumper above the skid plate is not supported by anything on stock FX4s so it is a little flimsy even with those air dams.

Nothing that you are removing when the air dam comes off. If I remember correctly, the air dam is held on by just a bunch of small fasteners directly on the edge of the bumper and two torx head fasteners that are located at the fender wheel well moulding, right under the marker light. The torx fasteners connect a few pieces together and is where part of the FX4 air dams attaches.

If anyone is interested in the FX4 air dams, here are the part numbers. You can reuse most screws that come off the removed air dam. You'll need to source a few extra of similar size for the supports.

I am surmising that someone at Rival took the easy route and assumed that the US ranger was the same as the Global one, and did not try a fitment. I am likely returning mine. Yeah. at this point, I'm not sure what went wrong. Rival seems like a good company. But it's 2" too long. I'm returning it. I'll be interested to see what other peoples experience is with the plates that they get.

If it was the right length, i could of probably drilled it to make it work with the Transfer case plate. oh well.
