Well, as they say, built Ford tough. Luckily it was a baby'ish deer. Hit it going 53mph. Pushed back the lower metal bumper and cracked the plastic below it a little. Going to try to replace on my own. No electronic or paint damage.

So, if anyone has the part number(s) for the lower grill assembly that would be great. See picture.

Thank you! Where is the best place to order parts from, not at the dealership?

Tasca or Ford Parts Giant. Honestly whomever is cheaper and will give you the best deal on freight. All of it will arrive repainted.

Awesome to have these resources. Is the lower valance available in black like for an XL model? Are they otherwise the same if you don’t have sensors?

XL bumper is completely different. There is no option for that part without sensors either.

Thanks, I had mine wrapped in matte black. Always wondered why it wasn’t an option. I don’t have to wonder anymore.

Everything i've seen about Tasca Parts says to stay far away, have you had a different experience?

You are very lucky, did you positively identify the animal that you hit? I am having a hard time accepting that it was a deer, with that small amount of front end damage. A coyote, for example, will often end up under the chassis or tires and result in your kind of visible damage. A deer usually takes out the upper grill and hood unless it was a very glancing blow.

Coyotes are the real menace around me, with deer coming in a close second, I hate the deer because they unpredictably freeze in place. Thank goodness there aren’t any moose….!

Thanks.

Anyone know if the grills on either side the lower air intake for the cooler has room for some SS3s?
Lariat has a plank plate with sensors but hoping sensors can be slightly moved over
