How much would aftermarket seats cost?

I think the plastic will help quite a bit, I'm thinking of putting about an inch and a half of shaped foam on top of the plastic under the factory foam,. I can feel the part where the foam is lost its structure. It's soft, right where your butt goes. I think the lumbar bag will help quite a bit too the factory one basically just the seat back to normal and that's it! Did you have to cut out for those holes? I wasn't looking at that.

So finished the seat mods, After looking at the components, what i think the cause is is both the Foam is sub -par, and i think the spring bottom is not as robust as it ought to be. So. I added a Nylon 12x12 sheet, and then stack a 1-1/2" of high density foam on top of it. It does cure the hole the lower rear seat becomes, at the expense of some comfort. Later down the road i may try a more recent bottom seat foam from a '26, but with the nylon plate. Also added seat heaters. all in all happy with it.

Well, wasn't happy with the extra foam, It was good, but wanted the more bucket feel. Turns out the F-150: 2015-2017 is similar enough to fit, actually is a bit thicker and more robust. The rear of the seat cover internal clip line is off but the sides and front fit. Foam is about 1/2" shorter in front, but oh so supportive. And there are many aftermarket Co's that supply variants of this seat foam. I took a chance on this Dorman Foam because it came in cheap- 57 Bucks. from the amazonian. Free Shipping! Love it.

So my recommendation, what I'm using, is 12x12 nylon 1/8" sheet and this foam. Also, if so inclined, a lumbar bag and heaters.
