Hey, can you send a pic of your setup?Nice write up! Just installed mine couple days ago same way with one exception. I have the fuse taps facing the other way. The outside leg of the tap should be on the hot side, which is to right side of all the fuses i tested. Power gets to both fuses directly instead of having to run through the first fuse in the tap block to get to the other fuse. If the first fuse blows, they're both dead. I suggest turning them around and have the wires leaving the tap facing to the left.
Here's my connections. I also bought the Hardwire cable here: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B09MRVP2PX...85b12bf7619d0efbe0eb237&tag=autofun09-20&th=1Hey, can you send a pic of your setup?
I couldn’t find any high-profile fuse taps. Everything on Amazon or at local shops is low-profile, so there’s no space on the right side to fit them in properly. Ended up installing it the same way the topicstarter did.
My VIOFO dashcam’s got parking mode, so it keeps recording even when the ignition’s off, that’s why I’m running two cables.
