I've always found Weathertech products to be quite good, and have used them in every vehicle I've owned (that they've supported) since I became aware of them. That being the case, however, I don't have any experience with the competition.

The factory floor mats in my Ranger Raptor are a bit slippery when wet, I've found. I don't know if the other models are slippery, or not. It could just be the pattern.

I also have the Husky Xact and would not recommend them.. as has been previously stated.. they do not stay in place. I have tried multiple times to get warranty support from Husky and have only gotten the run around. This was my first and last Husky purchase.

I like the Husky X-Acts because they are more pliable and they have little nubs on the bottom that keep them in place. The Weathertechs I had years ago were hard, kinda turned up on the edges, and slid around because the bottom side had no nubs. Things could have changed. And I have never tried the other brands for comparison. But I like Husky.

well today I took off the little doohickeys that attach the mat to the posts from carpet liners and put them on my husky liners

i saw this thread

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...loor-mats-snap-in-like-your-stock-mats.26251/

and even easier since the top part doesn’t need to have carpet needles trimmed as the husky and ford parts are nearly identical

The bottom cap has four fingers that you have to pry back or just overpower

good news is they squeeze back together really very easily.

I have decided to replace the front mats in my '25 RR due to the fact that I want more coverage, particularly under the gas pedal area.

This thread was very helpful in my research regarding the right mats for my truck. Ultimately, I settled on the WeatherTech HP front mats and purchased them directly from the WeatherTech website.

WeatherTech won out for me for a couple of reasons: (1) 100% Made in the USA -- this means something to me and all other things being roughly equal to other competitors (quality of materials, fit/finish, etc.) it makes me feel good about my purchase; (2) I have had the same full set of WeatherTech mats in our Jeep JL Wrangler since we bought it in 2019...Despite my wife and I shuttling two school-age kids around in it for that time period, they have held up extremely well.

There are many great choices in this marketspace and something for everyone.

I actually got Husky to respond and they sent me a new set of front liners since my drivers would not stay in place. The brand new ones they sent me have the exact same problem. It is clearly a defect, and now i have two sets of useless liners. If I were you I would look somewhere else

yes the part that holds them down comes out quite easily if you push in the mat with your feet it will come out.

if you have the carpet mats that came with the truck you can swap the parts that hold it down and then Husky mats stay in quite nicely

i say this because you might be stuck with your husky mats

also, it would be entirely possible for Husky to ship their customers a new part

because besides that, they are nice mats.

but i agree, it would not be on top of my list

Just wanted to give you a shout out and thanks for posting the tip. Did this a couple of weeks ago and mats no longer pop off!
