Mine came with plastic caps on all four corners; maybe they're cutting costs in their latest batch
Well that’s annoying. Did your top gasket have trouble laying flat when you first installed it?

Not that I noticed. The photos I posted are from the same day I installed it. The gaskets laid perfectly flat.
Sounds like they have a quality control issue then. Mine sticks up so much there’s no way it’ll stop water.

How long ago did you buy yours? Even the design looks a little different than mine. I don’t have those circles on the last piece by the cab that you have. Disappointing because I wanted it to look exactly like yours.

Hey folks. I got one of these covers from Real Truck. I've had some trouble with it latching. When I have everyone fully installed, I can slide the cover side-to-side enough for the latches to disengage and I can open the cover.

I noticed in some of the pictures here that the covers appear wide enough to fully cover the MX rails, so all you see is the cover's rubber gasket.

My theory is that my cover is too narrow for my bed (XLT FX4). The pictures I see here seem to confirm my theory. Here's some pictures of the latch interface.

That is strange. The circles are the tops of pass-through bolts with knobs underneath to remove the cover in no more than two minutes. I bought mine on December 23 before I got the Raptor, p/n 448332. As I said, the fit is perfect, very secure, and no play at all. I also have no water intrusion.

On mine there is a metal bracket underneath that has a twist knob with a thick plastic part that slides over and clicks onto the bottom of the rail and then you tighten it to secure the last part by the cab. Interesting how much of it’s changed in 7 months.

I just checked mine is p/n 448342. I guess a newer version? My rubber trim on top covers the rail completely, which may help for water but yours looks way nicer.

Do you have anymore photos? Also for the brackets that hold the rails to the bed did you slide them onto the rail first?

Not if you are careful. The plugs are sprayed like the rest of the bed so I used a sharp knife to cut around the edge before I removed them. It didn't seem to harm the sprayed on bed liner. The spray on the plastic plug did come off easily So I took the edge part(see photo) and glued it to the new plugs that came with cover. The cut out to run the tube through was a bit big so I used a rubber grommet to give it a tight fit. I hope I explain that ok?

I have a drop in liner. What should I do?

Not really sure. That oval type opening on each side at the back is in the bed so if you're drop in liner doesn't have it I think you should be able to drill a hole(the size of the tube) through the liner into it(the inside of that oval is plastic)? Then put the tube through it.. I put a rubber grommet in also to make sure it was a tight fit. I hope this helps.

Thinking about getting one of these, anyone else had any issues with the install lately?

No issue installing it by myself. It’s also very lightweight so you should not have any issue needing a J brace. I love mine. It didn’t come with 4 end caps like others did. But I emailed them and said it was missing end caps and they sent me 4 even though I only needed two.

According to a Realtruck person I spoke with on the phone, they updated the design and no longer have endcaps. It looks more like the Ford branded one now. You can see it in the last photo here:
