I was experiencing an intermittent interior rattle since shortly after buying my RR. It appeared to be coming from the left rear.
I had my tow hitch stored under the rear seat and thought the rattle might be coming from it so I placed it inside a pistol size gun sock, nothing.
The rattle was making me crazy.
I checked tightness of all seat bolts, shock the doors to see if that was where the noise was coming from, made sure the jack was stored correctly and tightened down. I finally removed everything I had stored under the rear seat. ZIP!
A week ago, I dropped the rear seatback, I don't remember why and I noticed the emergency funnel, the one provided so one can add gas to their fuel tank from a gas can. It was attached to a bit of trim fabric, just dangling there. SOB!
Even though I doubted this was the noise culprit, I snatched it off and stowed it in the Glove Box.
I am now rattle free!
