At first I was interested in that camera, but then I realized it could never work for me. I am 6'4 and can barely get comfortable in the Ranger, and I have to lower the seat way down to avoid that Huge blind spot of mirror assembly. After 3 weeks I still haven't gotten used to it, I keep having the impulse to reach over and flip up the pass sunvisor . I would not like hanging the camera under the mirror.

It hangs down about 1.6" lower than the mirror. (in the pic my ruler slipped down) At first I was worried that it would block my view, especially since I am tall and in the Ranger my view is thru the top of the windshield, but as it turns out it isn't a problem. Probably because even the mirror is in my line of sight so I am used to dealing with that potential blind spot. I always look underneath the mirror and check 4 times before pulling out anyway, in any vehicle. Left, right, left again then right as I am pulling out. Always left first in the US.

Now for a shorter person where they can see completely under the mirror to begin with, this may get in their line of sight.

I am very pleased with the video and it is clear enough to make out license plates in front.

Unfortunately I may have to remove it as I am thinking about installing the Comma ai 4 hands free driving system and it may be in the way of the windshield mounted hardware.
