Does anybody know where to put the floor jack to lift the front and back? Also where do they recommend putting the jacks ? Thank you

Is it bad to lift the back of the vehicle by the diff? They recommend by the rear axle?

It will be fine. They will just never tell you it's fine because they probably will only recommend at least 2 points of contact for legal liability reasons.
