Had a 2.5" leveling kit added to the front and 275/70R17 Toyo Open Country R/T tires put on.
Love the way it looks now. Drives great and very little road noise. I was thinking they were not going to fit, but the guys at the shop insisted they would....no cutting off the crash bars either. I think they trimmed a small piece off the front internal wheel well shroud but it's hard to tell.
Gave her a bath this morning and she's ready to go!

Anyway....on to the pics!

Did you add wheel spacers?

I'm not sure which brand it was. The shop ordered it for me. (I'll ask them tomorrow)

Also, no wheel spacers.

Cool, were starting to learn what size tires work with what offsets.

Yep....I was really thinking these were going to rub on the UCA, but they don't! :like:

Sorry to bump this post, but I'm looking to run these same tires and wheels with a 3" leveling kit on my Ranger. I would be extremely grateful if you could post a picture of a side profile to see how wide the tires are with the body.

Still liking the Toyo Open Country R/Ts? They are the lightest 275s that I can find, so I take it you wanted them for the same reason I did.

Hey GTX….Hopefully this is what you were looking for. This size sits almost flush with the wheel wells. (Stock 17” wheels)
The weight is exactly why I went with these. Just went to Florida over the holidays and got 20 mpg the entire time.

I was getting 21.1 with the stock tires.
I figure that will come down a bit with around town driving.

with my 2.5 level, there is zero rubbing.

Have you taken it offroad and beat up on the suspension a bit? Curious to see if its possible to get rubbing under harsh conditions.

Not yet.....at the moment, she's just pavement queen. Once the trails near me open after the "winter" months, I'll get her offroad.
Curious to see how well it does compared to my 22 Ranger Tremor. (sold)

So I'm looking at the same Superlift kit with the same size tire, but Cooper AT3s, and am also thinking about adding the Superlift 1" or 2" block on the rear. I don't want to loose all the rake.

If you get a chance to post a picture of your truck from the side on level ground, I'd really appreciate it.

do you need to readjust headlights after a level kit installed?
