I never go off the road but 200 miles and less to a stock tank could definitely get annoying to some people.

Especially going to baja mexico.

My brother, nephew, and i are planning in doing a week long trip in big bend national park so i will for sure need to bring jerry cans for that trip. Its all off road there

I'm interested for a non-Raptor. Would definitely make range when towing a lot nicer. But I'm also curious if the Aussie Super Duty tank would bolt up to a US spec non-RR and if we even get our hands on any of them.

what he said. Also, I do go off on my own quite a lot. I took my '19 Ranger on back 4x4 trails in Glacier National Park, and I did use most of three extra 5gal cans before I returned to civilization.
But for the regular Ranger, towing is where it's really at.

It's a bespoke tank by a smaller company made in a foreign country that is not simple to build. If you need a LR tank, this is a decent deal. Otherwise, carry some gas cans

Free? Of course not. But since you used the word “bespoke”, who the heck needs bespoke art underneath their truck hidden by a skid plate?! I want a larger fuel tank and for me, form follows function. So just to ground myself and check what fair market might be for a larger fuel tank, I poked around and one of the first hits I got was for titanfueltanks.com - they don’t have a ranger tank (yet) and they’re not bespoke, but $999 for a 40-gallon replacement for an f150 looks more like what I’d expect a fuel tank to cost.

Bespoke doesn't mean art. It means custom. By that I suppose these aren't technically bespoke as they come from a template. But Hand made and welded metal overland tanks are not really in the same tier as an extended poly tank. It is like comparing an aftermarket plastic bumper to a nice steel or aluminum winch-capable offroad bumper.

That being said, I don't overland so I don't need a super heavy duty metal tank to take me 400+ miles in the bush. If Titan had a $1,000 option for our trucks, I'd probably buy one (and so would a lot of others here).

[edit] I just looked, and Titan ONLY makes diesel tanks. I suspect the certification for the higher volatility of gasoline makes gas tanks a lot more expensive. [/edit]
