Many have shown interest in the 35 gallon extended range fuel tanks but have hesitated because of cost/availability.

The 35 gallon Long Range tanks are on sale at again at Long Range America, U.S. Distributor with an arrival date of 15 July 2026.

Your truck’s PCM can be reprogrammed for all the fuel gauge functions (Capacity, Mileage, DTE, etc) to work properly by Cody at Stanghi.com.

What do you people think, they should be free?

It's a bespoke tank by a smaller company made in a foreign country that is not simple to build. If you need a LR tank, this is a decent deal. Otherwise, carry some gas cans

I've been out of gas a couple of times. In one case, $2600 would have been ridiculous. The other time, it would have felt like a screaming bargain.
I'm running the 2.3L engine, range has not been an issue. I'm thinking it's a bigger concern with the Raptor engine and transmission?

My point has nothing to do with the machine and everything to do with circumstances.

If you run out of gas in a place with cell phone service and taxis, Uber, etc are available for under $500, that's an expensive gas tank.

Compare that to have no phone service, no available towing or taxi, 200 plus miles to a gas station, 110 degrees, limited water, etc. That decision to save $2600 doesn't seem so wise.

Of course a bigger tank means you can procrastinate that much longer before tanking up. But that's ok, we all like to add different mods to our trucks.

The only time I could use it is when we go to Mexico, we have 200 miles round trip from and back to out last gas stop and we burn some on the beach as well. Looks like they don't offer anything for the 2025 XLT though. Took Jerry cans last time. Out of 4 vehicles with us 2 needed help from the jerry cans, I could have made it but would have been pretty low. The beach seems to burn a lot of gas..

Take that stupidity elsewhere. You never get off the beaten path. Just say that.

I definitely think the RR could use a bigger tank, but these tanks are a bit pricey. I’m still VERY curious to see if the new Super Duty’s tank could be a fit.
