One question to those of you with an xlt. Window sticker says remote locking tailgate but mine doesn’t lock at all. Planning to take it in to figure out why, but the xlt is supposed to lock with global locks, correct?

HMM, I just looked at my my window sticker and it doesn't individually list 'tailgate lock' but i have a working lock with remote, must be part of the 301A package, do you have that package?

I did not get 301a, but it is listed under standard equipment on the sticker.

Also not sure about locking with global locks I've only used the remote fob.
BTW that's a great looking Red

I think there is a setting on the center console for this?

I haven't found anything on the console or in the manual. The manual mentions locking using the key fob and also has a section for manual locking tailgate, but that one has a key lock next to the handle on the tailgate which the truck doesn't have.

If your doors are locked, the tailgate should be locked too.

It ended up having a connector in the tailgate that was never connected from the factory. I don’t know if it was something missed in PDI or if it was QC from the factory but it is working now that it is connected.

Probably missed by both but the ground zero is the factory missing it. Been more than a few posts of just lazy missed assembly work from the factory.

Might have been taken apart for something...do they do any aftermarket installs, etc.? I doubt it was missed at the factory, it's a pretty rigorous process for final inspection.

Looks great though! I have a FX4 blackout in oxford white. Still figuring things out 6 weeks later...just now figured out that after a few days of not driving, the dome lights don't work until you cycle the key again. Weird power saving feature I guess, confirmed by others. Gotta get to know each other!
