Off roading with sway bar disconnected or modified disconnect??

Has anyone been off roading with their swaybar disconnected ?
Any difference at all? I mean I know the Live valve shocks must account for the sway bar but anyone done it?

I remember on my 09 Ranger that I modified with coil overs, I removed the swaybar completely and it felt better, but never had live valve before till now.

Also I just seen the Apex Performance links. They are air pressured to 0 to 300 psi. Low pressure when off roading and high pressure for city use.
I’m tempted to try it out but just wondering if anyone has any input

Bring wrenches and simply remove the OEM links if you'd like. Swing the disconnected bar upwards and zip tie in place.

Save the $335.

All depends on your driving habits, but I can't imagine I'd go for any sway bar disconnect system that wasn't nearly "instantaneous" and controllable from the cabin in my RR.

It would be sweet to have some extra articulation on a section of really rough terrain, but 200 yards later, I'd want the stability back for hauling ass...:devil:

It's dirt road season here in Montana (hunting season). I took mine out two months ago. It is a significant improvement in ride quality on rough dirt roads but you can definitely also feel much more body roll on pavement. I will be buying the Apex links as soon as they are back in stock. I cant go back to fully connected when it comes to dirt now that I know how much better it feels.
