Has anyone come up with a good way to install an offroad jack in the bed? My Gen2 had factory bed bolts that I could utilize for a mounting plate for the jack cradle. I don't see any in the Ranger bed. I think I know the eventual answer is likely drilling into the bed, but curious if anyone has already come up with a good solution yet? Some photos of mount, jack, and my last placement.

Would be nice if you could get a MOLLE panel to adapt it.

Builtright is working on some Molle panels for the Ranger. I've seen that option before, I get a little nervous with something that heavy mounted on a panel when offroad, but that definitely is an option.

It will depend how tight the mount would be. If its rather tight you should be fine.

At the Raptor Assault program they had a very similar jackmount that was bolted directly to the bed.

I would not mount a ~75lb jack to a molle panel.

I mean if there was one made for it, it would be great. Losing space in the bed verse the side is the compromise. Not sure there are current panels on the market that could handle a dynamic load that heavy anyway.

For an offroad jack, would it be better to use a bottle jack or a farm jack? I know I often see those mounted often on jeeps & tacomas.
