Congrat's. I order the same with no running boards.
Said it was in Alberta. I think its best to go over the truck before you accept it once it comes.
Curious why mine seems to be stuck in transit. maybe it got damaged in freight.

Opps from the turn signal mirror caps looks like you purchased the Lariat. Mines an XLT

Mine was ordered a week after yours, got scheduled for the same build week as yours and got built 4 days before yours and got shipped 8 days before yours. But it's not here yet. I'm a ways from Dearborn and they drop them in Phoenix and truck them down here to Tucson. Hoping soon.

I noticed yours was shipped and delivered the same day, are you that close to Dearborn?

Also I see yours was built over several days with a weekend in between and mine was built in 1 day, a Friday. Wonder if that means anything?🤔 Or maybe the dates are really meaningless.

Yeah I'm not sure how accurate the dates are. I just checked Google maps and it looks like I'm only 3.5 hours drive from Dearborn. I honestly didn't realize it was that close. Lol

Not too bad if you ask me. Here's my timeline for those interested. This is Southern Ontario Canada.

And here she is.

Congratulations

Curious on how/where you got that horizontal progress graph?
I have an order in for over two weeks and not a peep. Dealership states everything is fine but would have expected say a confirmation email from Ford.

You can check it here. https://www.ford.com/myaccount/check-order-status

You'll need your order number, and the VIN number of the truck. Your dealer should be able to get you both. I think they had that info pretty quick after I ordered.

Nobody reached out to me though, I had to call/text and ask for it.

Dealer called and said mine is arriving tonight and will be ready tomorrow afternoon. I still have a lot of questions for them on payment and wondering if more negotiation takes place at delivery? (this is my first new vehicle purchase ever) I have a family member who qualifies for the veterans discount but I believe they have to be included on the sales contract? Also not sure if I want to finance it or pay cash. Already sold my old truck so no trade in.

Avoid getting excited! It will be tough but stay cool.

I never finance unless I can get $1000 off for doing it through Ford or 0-60 or similar and I am using their money. I think the minimum finance is now $12K. If I do, I pay off within 90 days and just banked the difference. If not, I pay cash.

Search this forum for the 2025 Ford Ranger proprietary build sheet from last October. It lists levels, trim, and options with MSRP, dealer invoice, and factory holdback, which is 3% of MSRP. There is some wiggle room there. Dealers make money off financing, service, and parts so keep that in mind. Avoid extras like paint protection, fabric protection, window tint. I usually take the oil change and tire rotation prepaid service agreement because they can go up, but make sure you get it in writing as to getting manufactures specific oil such as full synthetic and the required amount of quarts. Not sure, ask to see the owner's manual specs. Do not be afraid to say no.

There are good discounts and rebates right now. I got the military discount but I served. There are others I got so look them up on the Ford Ranger website. A good salesman will look for ways to save you money through rebates.

Before you sign anything, have them put the vehicle up on a lift and go over the underside with your sales person, or a tech. Look for rust, anything loose. Walk around the vehicle looking for any scratched or missing paint anywhere but especially where painted parts go together and rims. Check the hood edges and door edges. Pay attention to all plastic parts for cracks or scratches. I found two plastic scratches, one on each rear brake light assembly. Each Lariat rear assembly costs $2,100.00, so take your time.

Go over the inside, paying attention to fitting, material. Open and close everything. Look under the hood for anything lose or wet. Then take it for a short test drive, radio off, and listen for odd sounds or rattles.

Also, my dealer videos the vehicle upon arrival. They do close ups of everything so if you find something later ask to see the pre delivery video, assuming they have one. It helps getting replacement parts or repairs under warranty.

When you feel good, sign. And congratulations!

Thanks, I'll try and remember all that! The only thing they are adding is door edge protection. I wouldn't let them do tint because I want ceramic and they don't offer that.

For comparison, just got a quote for XPEL XR window film all around for $700, installed. Awaiting the quote on full front PPF, grill, B pillars, rocker panels.
