Ordering a raptor now?

Are they orderable right now? We were going to order a lariat with the 2.7 but after looking at the options I'd pick we were only like 3k away from aa raptor and I like it so much more after looking at one in person. We need like 6 months or so to purchase anyways and so I was wondering if we can still order them and what kind of time frame are people looking at?

They are definitely able to be ordered, I have one on order since last December. Still waiting on a VIN to be generated then they can give a build/delivery estimate. If you have at least 6 months to go you'd be in a great position if you order one anytime now. Good Luck!

Cool, the dealer I went to look at today said they only charge $100 for a deposit. I need to call the guy and make sure if I order through them I'll get it at MSRP cause the one they have now is marked up. Not going to wait 6 months and then have to pay more on top....lol

Make sure you ask about their allocations. You can order one from any Ford dealer but they may not have an allocation available until next year. There's a dealer in NC that is known for not charging adm fees so their allocations fill up quick. Meaning there may be 8 people that have ordered one and the dealer will only get 4 this year.

These dealers aren't super big, but I'll ask. I know they only got one raptor in and he said they don't have any others coming. I'm not sure if it's common for a dealer to only get one allocation though?

I also ordered mine from a smaller dealership 5-17-24. They had just received their one allocation from and order that was put in a year earlier. At the time I put my order in they didn't have an allocation, but I was willing to wait because I have a vehicle. To my surprise my order was picked up about a month later and given a build week of 8-12-24.

Yes however take a look at the specifications especially if you are planning to do some towing. Raptor is a very nice ride - if you are going to go off-road or just general use. Towing is a different question. 3500lbs Raptor - 7500-8000 Ranger lariat

The Ranger Raptor is rated for 5500lbs.

My order is still in limbo from October last year, and this is at a dealership that usually gets extra allocations for things like Raptor Rs, so take that for what it's worth.

Ok, so he said they don't have any allocations but that we could put in an order anyway and it might get built? I was under the impression that you can't even put in an order without an allocation? So how does that work?

Do they fill orders sometimes without allocations? The guy was texting me and his text when I asked was kind of nonsense lol.
