Just wanted to share for future searchers since I couldn't find much in my own searching.

From off the lot, I had a warning light that would linger after parking brake activation, and an audible chime/message for ~1.5 seconds during parking brake activation/deactivation. The brakes still engaged and functioned. Trail Control and Auto Hold would also show fault when trying to engage. No codes scannable or other messages on the dash, no "see dealer soon" like the more significant faults I've read on here.

The orange lightning bolt symbol would stay on after the brake was disengaged, and remain on until the truck was shut off for a couple hours. In discussion with Ford service, attempted battery charge, BMS reset, brake maintenance mode and battery disconnect, with no change.

Turned out to just be a bit of undervoltage/sulfation on the battery from sitting on the dealers lot for a few months. U3003 ABS Low Voltage code was stored but not current. Battery replaced, BMS reset and codes cleared by dealer for resolution.

Might start to pop up as an early warning of battery issues - time will tell.

Man I’m really disliking all the heavy reliance on shoddy programming in modern vehicles…..
When sensitivity issues like this become a thing on a new vehicle, what’s the future hold as the systems age….
Hopefully that’s the actual find for your fault, but still concerning that it’s a thing

I remember the time when a low battery would just prevent starting the engine. Now a low battery may allow engine start, but cause all sorts of other problems. Too much 'lectronics on today's vehicles sensitive to battery voltage.
