I’ve been having problems for a year with sensors going off randomly. Dealership can’t find anything wrong. I’ve sent photos of the “ parking sensors malfunctioning with orange triangle. anyone have ideas on what to do? My dealership wont do anything without a trouble code.
thanks

we need a ford person who comes on here like how jeepforums has the "jeepcares" persona.

if someone posted something like what you posted on their forum, that "jeepcares" guy answers and asks them to message all the info and where they took their vehicle to get checked. it seems like that gets stuff moving for people

I also have issues with my 2024 Ranger Raptor parking sensors going off when it’s wet and cold. After I wash the vehicle and it’s cold the sensors seem to freeze up and go off continuously everytime I slow down in traffic. Once it warms up a bit they are fine and don’t cause any issues for me. Not sure what can be done about these sensor issues.

Give this a try. I have fixed many electrical issues on these newer vehicles like you state the dealers are lost on. Not just Fords. I don't know what their thinking but I have seen so much over use of "dielectric grease" I've been around that stuff for many years. It's great if used correctly but today they slather that crap all over inside a connections and cause problems. It is Not suppose to come in contact with the metal pin connecting surface (No matter what they say). It is to seal the connector at the sealing joint, plug in. Read the first three letters of Dielectric over and over! That's what it does. When it gets on the pin connectors it can cause resistance issues in the signal of the connection. Get some special electrical connection cleaner. Clean the connector and what it plugs into thoroughly give it time to dry and see if helps. It solved my trailer connection issues . There are many out there but I have used this one on auto ECU's and computers and has never let me down for cleaning connections! Hope it helps! :like:

I just got my Ranger a little over a week ago and my rear sensors were working perfectly fine, wet or dry, dirty or clean, until the truck software updated last Tuesday. Sensors suddenly stopped working after that. I cleaned the sensors at the car wash twice, and at home by hand with soapy water and a microfiber cloth. I also crawled underneath the bumper to make sure nothing had come unplugged or otherwise compromised. Everything is as it should be (clean, connected, undamaged).

The only explanation I have is it's something software related. I've turned the sensors off for now so I don't get the "parking sensor malfunction" message every time I put it into reverse and will have the dealer check it out when I go in for service.
