I'm waiting to see what Proclip releases before I buy something.
I'd like to as well but they're 5G options appear to be poorly reviewed and I don't think we'll see the 6G options anytime soon.

Why do you need a phone mount with CarPlay and Android Auto and a big screen? Serious question.

Wireless AA or CP is OK but I prefer wired. Then I can run a stealth cable from the center USB C port that's out of the way. The wireless charging pads in vehicles are all but useless. I reserve the center console for other items. I'm not always near a charger during the day so I like topping off in the truck. In an accident your phone can become a deadly projectile if not secured properly and if it becomes damaged well you're at the mercy of others getting you help. I don't use magnetic or magsafe mounts for the previous reason. Those would be my reasons to use a mount.

The oem wireless charger has already had overheating problems with my phone. In the past I ran an Apple MagSafe charger in a Proclip mount and never had issues.

Also sometimes the huge screen is harder to use than the phone itself, especially if I could mount the phone up higher.

ProClip's Dash mounts are out.

I'll probably buy the center dash mount and use it with the Magsafe attachment.

Many of us are looking for a heafty mounting solution for cameras and or tablet mounting for running ON-X for overland exploration.

I use Gaia GPS, but they both work via CarPlay/Android and can show maps on the screen. To me it’s one advantage of the nice screens in modern cars. I’ve used that for off road travel for several years. But to each their own.

I use the pro clip with their MagSafe charging. It got hot on me once but no problems since. If it does it again I’ll switch to the phone holder and plug it in myself each time. No biggie but it’s the best holder I’ve found so far.

I use it with their smaller universal (spring loaded) tablet holder and an iPad Mini 4. But any of their phone or camera mounts will also work. I use a 1” ball and a short adjustable extension arm. I like it because I can use it in ANY vehicle with bucket seats, in the RR you definitely need the optional air bladder to make it secure.

It is not as steady as a mount that is bolted to the floor, but the motion is very acceptable. The heavier the device, the more it can move. It won’t support a laptop! If there is an adult passenger in that seat, it doesn’t sway as much.

IMHO the one big negative is that you have to look away from the road, that is why my Garmin gps is up above the big center display.

I have the ProClip for the phone next to the infotainment center and their tablet mount in the cubby, above the glovebox.

The glove box cubby could be better designed as it moves to much in my opinion. The phone mount is excellent and very stable at eye level. Spot in my opinion.

There’s another company called A-Tach that does a similar mount worth looking into once they come out with their newer Ranger mount.
