How are you mounting your phone?

I've traditionally used Carplay to get access to the things I need. I'm new to the off road scene and I am using both OnX and Trails Offroad. Both work well with Carplay, however, I wish OnX would display elevation on Carplay, Trails Offroad does. I'm finding myself switching between the front camera and OnX. This has me thinking about mounting my phone in the truck so i can run OnX on my phone which does show elevation., The Offroam mount looks to be solid and a good choice. What are you guys using?

Have multi-style ProClip mounts—the thumb wheel to adjust tightness cracked on both, rendering them useless. Your setup looks more secure.

I’ll add that I use the Peak Designs slim lock system for a phone case and mount. Mechanically locked in and charges at the same time. Phone is super secure.

I use the offroam mount like in your link. Just not the mag safe end. I use a regular bulletpoint phone holder on the offroam base.

Ditto. I toss it in the phone heater cubby. Never needed to touch my phone or look at while driving.
