People have been posting about the crazy prices of RRs on the west coast. I wanted to get one - but not at $10k+ over MSRP. The hunt began and I found a new 2025 at Glavan Ford in Clay Center, Kansas. The truck was well optioned and very close to what I wanted. I live in northern Nevada.
That’s what airplanes are for. I flew to Kansas from Reno yesterday and was picked up at the airport this morning. I’m now in Cheyenne, WY for the night. About a 1500 mile total drive from Glavan Ford back home. I’ll know the truck reasonably well by the time I get there. Manual mode has helped to keep the RPMs fluctuating for the break in.
I had test driven a used one in Nevada - along with all the competition. The RR was what I wanted to get without a doubt. A HUGE thank you to Tamara and Lance at Glavan Ford! They made the buying experience extremely pleasant. I got a very good price on a great truck. According to Lance, they have a fair number of out of state sales. I understand why. I would have no hesitation to buy another vehicle from them.
I’m looking forward to getting it out on some trails once I get back home!
