I thought there was a thread debate about this. Some people said it's meant to be there (sound deadening?). I'm not sure what the official conclusion was.
Look at your hood at every angle. Make sure it shuts with a 2 foot drop. Look at the gaps on the sides, and if it sits out to far at the front. Make sure the front and back don't sit up too high or down too low. My wife's and mine RR
both were sent to a reputable body shop from Ford (warranty work). No big deal as every vehicle takes time for the factory to get a permanent fix. Also my wife's rear drivers side door was too far in, was also fixed at the body shop under warranty. The white foam between the cab and box are for sound deadening, someone mentioned it was left over from shipping. Someone in this forum even found a part number for it. Some people yanked it, some are leaving it like we are.
