Hello all.... just joined today. As the title states, I'm looking to buy new wheels for my 25 Raptor in the very near future. The wheels I'm planning to buy are the 17x9 Fuel Beast in a +20 (or so) offset. My question to those of you who have put the OE KO3s on new wheels, and did not comment in this thread https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/thre...e-4#post-384897:~:text=Giving Up on BFG KO3's have your tires remained in balance since making the swap?

No issues here either and my KO3s have a bit over 21k miles on them. Swapped my OE neadlocks out for Method 705s a few months ago and had no issues rebalancing.

In fact the 705s required a lot less weight to balance compared to the OE beadlocks, I would say they feel a bit smoother as well (likely due to being a but more uniformly weighted from better manufacturing).

705s are ET +35 vs stock ET +55. The weight difference is quite noticeable at least compared to the OE beadlocks which are quite heavy. The slight increase in offset adds a bit of track width a smidge of steering feedback, but not much (which is good for offroad). Id say its just right.

I wanted to keep the offset between 55 and 30, which is the range of factory wheel offsets Ford sells Broncos with, they use the same bearings / hubs, steering racks etc., so I figured that was a safe range to avoid issues with bearing wear long term.

Note that if you use an offset greater than +30 you will likely need to do a but of fender trimming if you flex it out all the way.

That's good info thank you! I do not expect to ever be in a full flex with this truck, but I'll definitely keep that in mind.
