Printed owners manual?

We took delivery of our ’24 Ranger Lariat today. Opened the glovebox to start perusing the owners manual but there wasn’t one. Do these things come with a printed manual? The electronic one had several lockups, and the search feature locked up a couple of times.

Printed paper manuals are available on EBay. Just search on 2024 Ford Ranger Owners Manual. Cost is around $50.00

Does the eBay manual fit the Ford leather case that is also sold there? In other words, is the book a standard size? The book specs are 640 pages, 5” x 7.25”, but the case doesn’t have a size listed….

Wouldn’t the manual be different for a Raptor Ranger versus normal Ranger? Former has lockers.

Looks like the price went up on Helm Inc's site though and apparently no availability until December.

The Ford Performance case from ebay is nice though!

Got from helm, inc. And got ford performance case from ebay.

Ford doesn't provide owners manuals anymore, just like they don't have paper brochures anymore. Cost savings with everything online. However you also have searchable manual in your dash interface.

I prefer paper copies too and have been getting them from helm for years. The ones on ebay are typically from either people stealing them out of vehicles at auto auctions or others cars, so I try to avoid that source.

I hate to say, ford has gotten so cheep as to not furnish one. Even though my lawn mower comes with. The on screen is of no help unless you know their verbiage. You can buy one online for about 50 bucks same as factory and includes the Raptor. I'm not sure what they make on them, but I think it is pretty pethitic. I sent them the receipt, but have no reply. I think they are embarrassed. This will be the last ford I buy. Should have kept my bullet proof Ram Cummins. The Cummins even gets better milage and a ton more horse power for about the same dollars. Live and learn

Then you have to print the damn thing. Might as well just let Helm do it for you in a porable package. Plastic drain plugs and missing manuals, when are these companies gonna learn the way to being profitable doesn't go past Cheaps ville. Like what they did to the 5th Gen mustang prototype to production car. It was a horror!
