If in the original thinking in Ford trucks was F-100/F-150 a 1/2 ton
A F-250 was a 3/4 ton
A F-350 was a ton

With the current payload of a Ranger at 1800 lbs.

Would that make a Ranger a
"R-250"?

Actually, some people think that the Ranger should be an F100, and a Maverick an F50.
I don't think they call F250 a 3/4 Ton, is mostly referred as Super Duty.
