After ordering in JUL with a build on the 4th of MAR, I'm finally in the home stretch. My R2 is on a train from MAP to SC, arriving there 14MAY at 0400. Does anyone have an estimate how long it should take from when it arrives to when it gets loaded on a convoy truck and departs? I know every situation is different but at least an educated guess would be something. I have zero to base it on but I would think it takes at least a day just to get the vehicles unloaded, then another day or two for the hauler to arrive and then to load it, then depart the following day (2.5 hour drive from SC to my dealership). I could be way off though. Maybe it takes 2 weeks until a convoy truck is available, I have no idea. Ford gave me an ETA of 19-25 MAY but I don't have much confidence in anything they say about shipping. Anyone been able to figure out how long it took yours? Thanks.

Most of the rail yard transportation facilities are union controlled so it depends on when they are good and ready to work. Tampa union moved them to the dealership quickly as in next day.

My XLT just arrived in Denver via rail on Monday. The rail yard is only an hour away from my dealer. I am still waiting for the call from the dealer as of today (Friday). BUT... I checked my order status this morning and it has now changed to Final Preparation, so my guess is that they have the truck in hand. So to answer your question... about 5 days after it arrived by rail it was at the dealer!

It shipped from MAP on 4/25, so total time from MAP to dealer in Co. was only 15 days!

Mine was built on 6 March and shipped out via rail to Virginia on 28 March. The dealer received my truck on 5 April. So eight days from shipped from MAP to dealership.

Dealer told me mine would be delivered Monday. Builder status still shows in production. Its coming via Convoy. So i have zero clue when it is going to land at the dealer. Blend date was 4/26 and the online widow sticker has not been updated since 5/8. So your guess is as good as mine.

Anyone know if the truck will (or could) switch rail cars along its trek from plant to final railyard?

So to update my original post, after sitting at MAP, fully built, for 59 days, my truck arrived by train at the S.C. destination on 14 MAY...and it is still there. 2.5 hours from my dealership. I am beyond angry at this point. It is like they want to drive customers away. Unreal.
