So I got my Ranger raptor lifted with the goat off-road 2”front and 1” rear spacer lift about 3-4 months ago it’s been great till about 3 weeks ago it showed service vehicle soon icon. Also when it displayed that icon it cut the power and started switching between gears. I pulled over turned the truck off and back on it works fine.. Note it has done this twice now within the last three weeks When I go to my ford pass app it is saying 4wd/AWD fault.

What I’m wondering is if the lift kit and bigger wheels and tires are causing this issue?? If anyone has suggestions please share. Thanks

I have a 2”/1” lift and 35s no issues. Many will probably suggest first checking to make sure your rear wheel position sensors are still intact (little actuating arm on the links just infront of the rear wheels). It seems thats its common for these to pop off or unfortunately break while this stuff is being installed.

I did the Fordrangerlifts.com 2:1 spacers, Bronco Sasquatch wheels (+30 offset) and 35” KO3s and during the process my passenger side rear ride height sensor got broken. Pretty disappointing that it’s mostly made out of plastic and very susceptible to breaking due to the little arm and plastic ball. Anyway. No errors showed up until I went in with FORScan to adjust the new ride height (VDM)…it then threw a Sys Fault Service Required. The steering & suspension modes also weren’t accessible. Once I installed new sensor and successfully set the new VDM - all is good.

Have you gone in with FORScan to do the VDM settings? This should verify if something is broken. It’s pretty easy to see the rear sensors as they are very exposed. Check all your sensors and connectors as well as the shock sensors and ABS sensors.

Pull the codes. Likely a broken sensor or nicked wiring.
