Weight is a big benefit to the Ranger Raptor. I'm waiting to see the Ranger go head to head with the F150 Raptor V6. It will be really close.

I’m not saying that the Raptor will be slow, but MotorTrend clocked the Explorer ST 0-60 at 5.2s. Granted 100km/h is a hair over 60mph and the model in the test is only 392 HP. Still, a whole second difference is kind of shocking. The RRaptor is very heavy, indeed. One of the Explorer tuners managed to program in a Launch Mode so I bet you could make a serious dent in that gap if that ever comes to RRaptor and you fit some lighter wheels and more street friendly tires.
