Hello everyone, I have already installed an aftermarket bumper, which includes brackets at the fog light positions for mounting two 4" CUBE LIGHTs on each side. I am currently planning to purchase a set of Diode Dynamics SS3 MAX SAE FOG (with an approximate current draw of 6 amps per pair) to replace the factory fog lights. These will be connected to the factory fog light harness using Deutsch DT Adapter Wires and controlled via the factory fog light switch. However, after checking the owner's manual, I couldn't find the amp rating for the fog lights. Does anyone have this information? Thank you!

Aux 1 is the only one that won't work for those lights wired directly. It will of course work with a relay. This is in your manual,

This is a bit of conjecture mixed with what I read off the fuse box diagrams. If the fogs are drawing power alongside the headlight assemblies, that's a 20A Total fuse for each headlamp assembly (left and right). It doesn't mean that the wiring is that robust, but that's one bit of info.

While I can't find direct ranger info, the bronco forum statement seems to indicate that the wiring there (I'd guess identical) can take at least upto 3A each based on the diode ss3 max comment here

I'm sure the factory fogs draw less than an amp.

Another plug in replacement here draws up to 42W @12v which would mean more than 3A - https://www.signaturelux.com.au/pro...or-fog-lights-for-ford-next-generation-models

So you should be good on wiring / current capacity for the ones you want to install.

Have you been able to find what wire gauge is used for that fog light connector?

If you can’t find solid wiring diagrams and load capabilities go old school if you wish to retain Factory functionality and not use Aux switches. Hook up a relay with the original fog light wire as the trigger. Relays of just about any capacity are available. It’s possible to not cut any wires. Find the male / female mate to the factory plug and you can revert to stock or change your setup later with no consequence.
