Hi all. I've had my 2025 Ranger Raptor for 5 months as my daily driver. Coming from a 2-door 2021 Bronco Badlands non-SAS on 35"s, the steering feel on the RR is heavier than I'd like it to be, even in COMFORT mode. While it's a minor issue on the city streets of ATL, on long road trips it takes more effort/force trying to keep it between the lines than the Bronco did. I could make small corrections in the Bronco with just a fingertip. The Bronco steering feel was perfect IMO both on road and off road. I took it across the country twice and had no complaints.
I am hoping someone on here has experience tuning this in Forscan or maybe a steering rack swap/upgrade would help?

I agree! Had mine 2 weeks. An hour at the wheel and my shoulders hurt.
Steering feel goes from too stiff to way too stiff. Vague on-center feel doesn't help.

So it's not just me!

I was asking the dealer about the on-center feel and was told it was absolutely normal. I chalked it up as it all in my head. I'm fine with the overall heavier feel, but I wish I could eliminate the on-center gap. That's what fatigues me on long drives - the constant input on the highway.

Same! I did a 6-hour drive from ATL to Raleigh and I was sore after. I'm planning another 2-day trip to Moab in September and I'm hoping I can find a solution before then.

I love the way it feels around town or even on twisty roads, but on the highway not so much.
I'm doing a 7000+ mile 6 week epic road trip this summer with the RR. Starting to think we should take the car...
My F350 feels light and nimble...ironic.

Is that with lane centering on or off? It certainly makes a difference!

Tried both. On or off makes no difference in steering feel at all.

Guess I should clarify. It makes a significant difference in the fact that I tend to feel that Im continually fighting the effort of the truck trying tp ride closer to the "center line". When in lane centering mode (cruise cintrol on), the truck tends to favor being about 2' further left (closer to the center line) than I prefer. So there's that constant feeling of the steering attempting to correct to the left. That does add to the steering effort feel. Thus, I usually just turn it off.

Agreed. I set it to vibrate only and lowest setting since there's no Off. One of these days I will turn it off with forscan...

plus, unless you fight it with enough pressure, it'll nag you to keep your hands on the wheel.

Same. On the highway I'm like. Why do you want to be so close to that truck and the center line?
So if you pressure it away a little as soon as you let go of the pressure it goes way back over towards the center line and then weaves back over towards the other line.
