Rear Seat Won't Latch

I thought my brand new 2025 XL didn't latch at all. Then I saw to put your palm on the seat under the pull and slam! It shouldnt be that tight. Ford should be fixing all these things. Ive only had the thing not even a week. I guess I better drive it more to figure out if it has more problems.

Adjusting the headrests and actually pushing on the back seat, from inside, where the latch is... thats what worked for me, didnt have to SLAM it with this method. Kinda a pain though.

Mine was also hard to latch, someone on this forum had mentioned to raise the center head rest up about an inch or so. The way the polls are bent it prevents the seat back from latching when the head rest is all the way down. That solved the problem for me.

Thanks for posting this. This solves the problem on mine. I don’t even need to use much force when the middle headrest is up a few inches. Kind of a dumb design though.
