I’m thinking about replacing my stock non beadlock wheels with a RRW 17x8.5 +25 offset wheel. Keeping my stock KO3s, is there any noticeable difference (better or worse) I should expect with the ride quality. Thanks for any feedback.

changing offset won't affect how smooth your truck rides.

it may feel odd for a few days if you ride a part of a highway that is worn a particular way as the tires will ride in a different section so you may feel like its moving a little more, side to side. otherwise, offset won't make it bumpier or smoother.

I have the Roush +25 on mine, I didn't notice anything different.
Where did you find those wheels? I'd love a set but I can't source any.

You will have a slightly firmer ride, and slightly more tracking on the freeway and bump steer.

Source: I run 17x9 +25 wheels on stock tires.

If you swap to 17x8.5 +25 wheels with your stock KO3s, the ride won’t change much. You might notice slightly more road noise or a firmer feel over bumps, but it’s subtle.

The wheels will push the tires out a bit, giving a wider stance and a touch more stability in corners. Steering may feel slightly heavier at low speeds, but nothing major.

Just double-check fender clearance, especially if you plan off-roading, since the +25 offset moves the tires outward a bit.

I've had no clearance issues but I don't offroad. I can't imagine it being a problem with stock-width wheels and stock tires.

If you push it hard offroad, some people have reported moderate rubbing with ET +25s (dunes in UAE).

Ive not seen a single report of rubbing with stock tires on +30 or greater offsets, so that would be the safest bet to avoid possibly needing to trim.

I got Method 705s in +35 offset, planning on going to Silver Lake in August this year so well see how it goes.

Yep.
I could easily see that being true.

‘I run +30 17x8.5s with stock 285/70R17s and I am close to the front crash bars at full steering lock in reverse. A +25 would be slightly closer then my +30s.

Not likely to be anything to worry about. It would mostly be a rare situation that could potentially create a brief very minor rub. Nothing I would ever worry about.

I would say your both pretty spot on.
‘I run the stock tire size on +30 rims and you both described what I have seen first hand with mine.

Note: An alignment can fix a little bit of that steering difference, 30+ mm wider track will exaggerate the oe alignment spec.

I had an alignment done on my 24 model RR at the first oil change with the +30 rims and that did improve the twitchy or faster steering that was caused by the widen track width from the +30s I run. I plan to do the same with my other 2 RRs soon as it’s time for first oil changes.
