Which is the "softest" suspension setting? What are they softest to firmest? I thought it was offroad to normal to sport. And not sure where baja falls into the mix either. But seeing you can only pick it in baja mode.. which really isn't a daily driver mode.
Anyone know?

I doubt it will ever happen but it would be awesome if someone cracked the Live Valve tune to customize it.

On a recent road trip, it felt like the suspension softened up at highway speeds. I wish there was a way to set it to behave like that at any speed.

I don't have data but on the F150 Raptors it was understood that Normal = softest, Sport = firm, and Baja = more reactive to big hits.

It could be wrong but that is what I was always told.

I've owned a Gen 2, two Gen 3's, a Bronco Raptor, and now a Ranger Raptor.

Ranger Raptor is by far the roughest riding of the whole lot. Bronco is very close to the same since they are on the same frame platform but the Braptor has 37's which helps with the small bumps.

Its not fair to compare the Ranger to the F150 TBH. Its a longer wheel base and the normal mode is dialed in for comfort.

I'd still argue the Ranger rides better than other competitors in the mid-size class.

I agree

my 21 Colorado ZR2 rode better overall on the highway

no experience with my new RR off-road yet

RR is definitely quieter inside

I think normal is best for daily commute. Off-road is meant for maximum suspension flex, sport is for pretty much track only or high speed turns. That being said, I haven’t tried it yet but is it possible to have sport mode with normal suspension? (Disclaimer, this is only my experience, no official guidance or anything like that). Also tire pressure can be a factor, I’m at 39psi cold start, 41psi on highway, 9,900mi.

I really can't tell much difference on my daily drive between normal and offroad. I do agree with the inconsistency of the feel.

I have the exact same issue, I have a 2024.5 Raptor built in June and the ride was amazing for the first 1000kms but now it is intermittent also. I have taken it back to Ford 2 times now but they don't think there is an issue even though after driving another raptor it rides completely different. @ec99 have you found a fix for it yet or have you taken it back to Ford ?

Not yet, it hasn’t been annoying enough for me to take it in just for that. I may mess with forescan soon to see if I can find something on there but next time it’s in I’ll mention it and see if they can reset the FOX software or something. I’d be pretty upset if it requires brand new shocks

Normal feels the best to me if you're not sending it off-road or trying to race on pavement. The truck is versatile but not floaty. I've read that the Ranger Raptor school runs 32 psi front and 28 psi back at all times. I'm presently running 39 in all 4 corners. I'm going to drop the pressure and see how it feels. I'd imagine that lightweight 35's would certainly help too. I hope SDI comes out with an e-clik programmer for this platform.

Do any of you have forscan? I’m very interested to see what your voltage reading are for your rear sensors, as I noticed my rear brackets for the trailing arm sensors were quite loose causing the sensors to move whilst driving, I’m now wondering if this is why I have a rough ride. Can anyone who has forscan post your readings of you sensor voltages when on a level surface, this may be the issue ?

I‘m coming from a Gen 2 f150 Raptor and had a TRD Off Road Tacoma before that. i‘ve put about 800 miles on my 2025 Ranger Raptor and it definitely feels less floaty than my f150. That said the ride is excellent and far superior to my previous midsized truck. The driving experience on road is much more sporty and quite an enjoyable experience. While it doesn’t corner like my MINI Cooper or my Porsche Boxster S nor did I expect it to I do feel much more connected to the road than I do with my f150. I think the steering responsiveness is quite good on road. I look forward to christening my RR off-road soon so I have more complete comparison to my f150 Raptor. That said I’ve been very pleased with the RR ride quality thus far!

The Next Gen Ranger Raptor has a stiffer ride than my PX3, the engineers responsible got into a loop of "if we make it stiffer the lap time will improve. Oh the lap time improved let's make it stiffer" and nobody told them to pull their heads in (don't ask how I know). They ruined the "magic carpet" ride of the first Ranger Raptor, which was comparable to the older F-150s (pre live valve). This is the result. There's a couple of other downgrades compared to my original RR, the seats being a big one.
